By accessing, downloading, installing, or using Cryptio encryption software ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.

2. Software License

Cryptio provides non-exclusive, non-transferable licenses for encryption software designed for legitimate data protection purposes. License types include:

• Basic License: Single user, up to 3 devices, file encryption up to 1GB
• Professional License: Single user, up to 6 devices, unlimited file sizes
• Enterprise License: Up to 10 users, up to 20 devices, advanced features

3. Permitted Use

You may use Cryptio for:

• Encrypting and protecting your own files and data
• Securing sensitive business information with proper authorization
• Complying with data protection and privacy regulations
• Educational and research purposes within legal boundaries
• Professional security testing with explicit permission
• Generating and managing secure passwords and keys

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use Cryptio for:

• Any illegal activities or to hide criminal behavior
• Violating intellectual property rights
• Circumventing organizational security policies without authorization
• Creating or distributing malware or ransomware
• Interfering with the Software's security mechanisms
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the Software
• Sharing your license with unauthorized users

5. User Obligations

• Use the Software only for authorized encryption and data protection
• Comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws
• Maintain confidentiality of account credentials and encryption keys
• Report any security vulnerabilities to our support team
• Keep the Software updated to the latest version
• Follow best practices for encryption key management
• Respect the device and user limits of your license type

6. Data Protection

Cryptio uses zero-knowledge encryption architecture. We cannot access your encrypted data, encryption keys, or any content you protect with our Software. You are solely responsible for:

• Safeguarding your encryption keys and passphrases
• Creating secure backups of important keys
• Understanding that lost keys cannot be recovered by us
• Ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws

7. Export Control Compliance

Cryptio contains encryption technology that may be subject to export control laws. You agree to comply with all applicable export control regulations in your jurisdiction and not to export or re-export the Software in violation of such laws.

8. Subscription and Payment

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You must cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle
• Refunds are available within 14 days for first-time purchases
• Price changes will be communicated 30 days in advance
• Enterprise customers may have custom billing arrangements

9. Intellectual Property

Cryptio and all related intellectual property rights are owned by Transio Technologies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Software or included documentation.

10. Privacy and Data Collection

Our Privacy Policy, available at cryptio.com/docs/privacy, explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Cryptio uses zero-knowledge encryption, meaning we cannot access your encrypted data or keys.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND LIMIT OUR LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

12. Termination

We may terminate your access to Cryptio if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Software ends immediately
• You must uninstall the Software from all devices
• Your encrypted data remains accessible with existing keys
• No refund will be provided for remaining subscription time

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Accra, Ghana, under the rules of the Ghana Arbitration Centre.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Software.
