The Story Behind Cryptio
Francis founded Transio Technologies with a mission: make military-grade encryption accessible to everyone, not just large corporations and government agencies.
Working in Ghana's emerging tech ecosystem, Francis saw businesses struggling with data security. Most encryption tools were either too complex for non-technical users or lacked the enterprise features African businesses needed for GDPR and local compliance.
"I wanted to build encryption software that provides government-level security but feels as simple as dragging and dropping a file," Francis explains. "Businesses in Ghana and across Africa deserve the same data protection tools available in Silicon Valley."
That vision became Cryptio - software combining AES-256 encryption (used by the U.S. military), zero-knowledge architecture, and an interface designed for everyday users.
